Your Puppy's Papers
Here is some of the information that will be provided in your Puppy Package.
This document should be provided to your vet within seven days of receipt of your new puppy. Each of our puppies is on a strict schedule of medications. This includes: Wormer at 3, 4, 5, and 6 weeks; Combination vaccine at 8, 12, and 16 weeks (provided that the puppy is in our care at 16 weeks). The Medication Record provides detailed information regarding the dates medications were administered, as well as vaccine serial numbers. If your puppy is traveling, he will also have a Rabies vaccination. This will be listed on the Medication Record, and we will send you your puppy's Rabies vaccination collar tag.
Four Generation Pedigree (we provide this occasionally):
The Four Generation Pedigree details your puppy's lineage, going back four generations.
AVID FriendChip (for an addition $30):
The AVID FriendChip is a microchip with a 9-digit code that is about the size of a grain of sand. It is placed under the skin of the puppies to permanently identify them. A special scanner sends a harmless radio signal to the chip to read the chip number. Most shelters and veterinary offices have scanners. The microchip can help you be reunited with your Yorkie if he is ever lost or stolen. It is NOT a GPS system, but a way of permanently identifying your Yorkie.
AKC Registration Application:
We provide you with the application you will need to complete in order to officially register your puppy with a new name as a pure bred Yorkshire Terrier. Registering your Yorkie is an important step in ensuring the continuation of the breed! We HIGHLY recommend that everyone register their Yorkie. PLease read more about the importance of registering your purebred dog with the AKC.
Royal Canin Food Samples:
We feed our puppies Royal Canin Mini Puppy 33. Included in your puppy's package will be a sample of the food as well as a coupon to buy more.
Yorkie Splash and Shine shampoo and conditioner samples:
We only bathe our puppies with the best, most natural yorkie grooming products available! In order to keep you Yorkie puppy on the same regimin, we will send you samples of these great Yorkshire terrier grooming products to try.
If your puppy will be flying, you will also receive:
a travel crate, measuring 24"x14"x16"
a veterinarian's Health Certificate
