What to get for your new puppy
This is a list I have put together of things new Yorkie owners should get before bringing their new puppy home. This list is merely a list of suggestions. Please use this to get ideas of things you should have before you bring your new puppy home.Puppy pads (we recommend washable, reusabe puppy pads that you can find here Washable, Resuable Puppy Pee Pads)
Food and water dishes (any kind that works for you and the puppy can reach)
Toys (During teething, preferably ones without things that can be chewed off - like arms and legs)
Crate (one that is large enough the puppy can stand and turn around in comfortably)
Brush (I use an All Systems Pin Brush)
Comb (I use a metal comb by Safari, it's cheap)
Bed (anything that is safe will do - read more about selecting a dog bed)
Baby wipes (in case of motion sickness)
Harness
Leash (that can clip to the harness)
Nutrical
Nail trimmers
Treats (Crazy Dog Train me treats work well)
Tooth brush and paste (better to start that ritual immediately)
Coat conditioner if you'd like (I use miracle coat lustrizer,)
Shampoo and Conditioner (I use our own, Yorkie Splash and Shine)
Bitter apple spray
Soothing spray/DAP Comfort Zone Diffuser
Stain/odor remover (I actually use "Spray and Wash With Resolve Power" on the carpet, it works great!)
Poo bags/holder
Exercise pen
Hair trimmers (If you want to do that yourself. I just use a $20 beard trimmer from Walgreens - they sell some online just for dogs but they cost upwards of $100).
